- making shaun tan’s “the arrival” into a silent play at carriageworks
- signal to noise exhibition (An exhibition of fanzines, photography and album artwork will revive and recreate the Sydney underground music scene of 1979-1985. Coupled with unreleased music and a previously unseen video archive, this exhibition is the first of its kind.)

Stuff I did today
Yeah using Tumblr as my online “Holidays between high school and uni” journal
- Saw Lottie!- chilled with her and Natasha.
- Signed out of schoolio. OVER
- Bought Season 1 of The L Word… which I am fighting so hard to not watch now… saving for schoolies.
- Went into David Jones to try Marc Jacobs’ new fragrance Lola.
- As a result got accosted by perfume lady for 45 minutes.
- Too bad lady, genuinely love Lola, not your Issey Miyake stuff.
- Ate ice cream and bought things
- About all really.
i cannot wait to use tumblr as my online “holidays between high school and uni” journal! wooo! it will seem like i do more in life than studying!

reading a blog about the hsc/ our education system,
saying that the kids who come out of the hsc struggle in university because they don’t understand the concept of ‘real learning.’
and all these older people saying back in my day yada yada. the education system is atrocious because they value memorising over knowledge.
oi just because we memorise our essays. you would too if you had 40 minutes to come up with a coherent and detailed 1200 word essay.
damn straight.
i don’t like our education system, actually.
